Old Bryce Town Ice Cream & Candy Shop: Reviews & Ratings
Very affordable ice cream ($1.99 for 1 scoop, $2.00 for 2 scoops)!!! Pretty good overall and in a great spot to explore of course. LOVE their sizes on display as rocks :)
The ice cream brownie sundae was good. Brownie was warm with scoop of ice cream and fudge sauce. Went in September. They even have a penny machine.
Such a cute Old Town-vibey shop. I had their affogato and it was really good. I think they change their flavors frequently so you might get some better flavors some days. My favorite was coffee with chocolate chips! The prices are great, a two scoop affogato was around $4 and one scoop kids cup was $1.99
Old Bryce Town Ice Cream & Candy Shop transports you back to the Wild West with idyllic charm (and protects you from the lawlessness, violence, and drunken greed for gold). Farr ice cream is the brand on hand here. I love the Rocky Road and Cookies & Cream flavors when they have it. They have a rotating menu with daily refreshers. They also have cinnamon roasted nuts (almonds, cashews, etc.), and various candies and sweets. It's a fun shop to visit and explore. They have fun photo opportunities set up from a fake jail cell to western stand ups. The service is the primary changing variable on how enjoyable your experience will be. The staff are seasonal foreigners, and some are amazingly friendly and helpful, and others are the complete opposite. Be patient and respectful, and you should have a good experience regardless. I'm a frequent visitor and will continue to visit Old Bryce Town.
Sizes are super affordable and the girls are extremely sweet! One in particular told us about the hoodoo story and even turned our hoodoo icecream into a volcanic syrup surprise! Overall super lovely. If you had a bad experience, it will always depend on what person and what day.
The iced coffee was amazing, best in the area for sure! Great candy and ice cream too. Cute area with old time Western charm. pictured: iced vanilla latte and wild huckleberry ice cream

Their pricing is refreshingly affordable, with scoops starting at under two dollars, making it accessible for families and travelers alike. The ice cream is sourced from Farr, a brand known for its rich, creamy textures and vibrant flavors. Regulars rave about classics like Rocky Road and Cookies & Cream, as well as seasonal specialties that keep the menu feeling fresh and inviting. I found the affogato—a robust coffee paired with chocolate chip ice cream—a standout, perfectly balancing bitterness and sweetness.
One of the shop's unique touches lies in its playful presentation, such as serving scoops shaped like the region’s famous hoodoo rock formations. This creative nod to the local landscape adds both a visual delight and a deeper connection to Bryce Canyon’s natural wonder.
